How We Mapped The License Data

CDPHE defines Class A home care agencies as agencies that provide skilled healthcare services from licensed medical professionals. In this report, Medicare/Medicaid and HHA license rows are grouped as Class A-style skilled home health rows.

CDPHE defines Class B home care agencies as agencies that provide personal care services only. Personal care homemaker, in-home support services, and IDD home care rows are grouped as Class B-style personal care rows.

The export does not contain a literal Class A/Class B column, so HCA license-only rows are left in a verify-class bucket. Families should still confirm an agency license class directly before starting care.

Where Coverage Looks Thinnest

These are the tracked Denver-area cities with the fewest licensed agency headquarters in the CDPHE export. This does not mean families cannot get care there; many agencies serve clients across city lines. It does show where resource pages, discharge planners, and families should pay closer attention to actual service-area coverage.
